Entries for all variants of the WSR Open Water Swim can be selected below.
Advanced Swim (2km)
The full swim, two laps of the Regatta course, from near the finish line up to the bridge and back again. Total distance is 2km.
Although there are no formal experience restrictions, if you are new to open water swimming we recommend entering the Standard or “Go With The Flow” events.
You MUST be aged 16 or over on the day of the event to enter the Advanced Swim. Younger competent swimmers (12+) can enter the 1KM Standard or ‘Go With The Flow’ swim, subject to the Terms and Conditions particular to those events and age groups. Any competitors Under 16 registered for this event will not be allowed to enter the water on the day of the swim and their entry will be forfeited.
Standard Swim (2km)
One lap of the Regatta course, from near the finish line up to the bridge and back again. Total distance is 1km.
“Go With The Flow” Swim (400m)
A relaxed swim for those new to open water swimming or just after something a little less competitive.
It will consist of a single downstream leg of approximately 400m. Entrants will get in the river at the General Start and swim/saunter/float down to the finish line.
This is a great way to get involved if you are new to swimming in the river.
Entries are £10, and you will benefit from all the safety and support provided for the main swim.
Important Information for 12-16 Year Old Entrants (Standard and “Go With The Flow” events only)
