The NSPCC crew of 5 who rowed down the Regatta course on Saturday were extremely grateful for the resounding support that they received as they passed the WSR Enclosure. This crew set off on Thursday 4 August from Lechlade to row the 124 miles to Teddington, London over three days passing 44 locks in the process.
Whilst tired, they enjoyed the tremendous reception that they received and “it was a special moment for them such that Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta will live long in their memories”
